The workshop provided an intensive learning environment where field research, international collaboration, and design-oriented research converged. The group was granted access to the premises of the Raspotočje coal mine in the city centre of Zenica, which gave the students an opportunity to observe the recently derelict mine from close by.  The Raspotočje mine WAS one of the main underground deposits of the Zenica Coal Mine, THAT opened in 1880 AND CLOSED IN 2024.
