Maurice Hermans is a Dutch artist, researcher, and musician. His work focusses on processes or experiences of loss, decline and transition.
In 2021, he founded the AUW music collective, performing sessions in AUW an der Kyll (2021), Charleroi (2022) and Konjic (2023).
Currently, he serves as the director of Intro in Situ, a workspace for contemporary music.
Maurice has published independently as well as for established publishers such as nai010, Lit Verlag, and OECD. Also, he was invited for keynotes by institutions such as iASK Koszeg, OECD, IFHP, the Dutch consulate in Dusseldorf, Neimed among others. In the past fifteen years he has (co-)organised various events.
